302-351 swap serpentine belt
I'm doing the 351 swap into my 79 mustang and I have some questions about the sepentine belt and A/C pump. First of all what belt should I get ? The regular 302 w/ A/C and power steering, or one from a 351? I have the A/C / power steering bracket, but my A/C pump sits back about 3/4 of an inch from the front mounting bolts in order for it to line up to the other pulleys. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. If anyone has a part number for the belt that would be awesome too ! Thanx, Scott

As I'm sure your aware the 351 is both taller and wider than the 302. Your best bet is to find a doner 351 and use all the pullies and brackets from it rather than trying to modify and mix and match 302 brackets and pullies (I know from personnal experience). Then just get the belt for whatever donner vehicle you got the brackets from. A good sourse for brackets with serpentine belts are trucks.
A "skip" = a dumpster.... but he says it's proper english??? Oh.. Okay. Most of us can see the dating site pun, "matching" with an arsonist.. But a "SKIP? How is that a box? It must all be...
