Custom made sway bars
Hi.
I'm president of TLS Steel Products, a small company in Portland, OR, that specializes in the custom manufacture of sway bars for racing cars, hot rods, and other high performance vehicles.
I'm not a hot rodder but I readily appreciate a good body when I see one; even on cars.
Over the past couple of years TLS has worked with several racing teams across the country to produce sway bars suited to their special needs. The fact that these teams keep comming back for more bars, many of which they sell on proprietary basis, is testimony that their designs and our production is working. The success we have had with racing teams suggested that a next step might be to explore the world of Hot Rodders to see if there may be special sway bar needs out there ( and people willing to buy them).
I hope to visit and participate in forum activities as time and talent permits.
I should point out here that we don't produce the most sway bars of any company around and we may not be the cheapest for a given bar. However, we do offer something very few others offer. We willingly work with any individual or goup of individuals to develop sway bars for any vehicle. We will produce it, even if it is only one bar. Naturally we would like to make as many bars as possible, but we'll do one if that is what it takes to get your business. Please keep in mind, however, that sway bars are like beer; cheaper by the dozen!
If anyone has specifc comments they would like us to address please e-mail us at tlssteel@aol.com
