Our company specializes in mandrel bending stainless steel bends for the custom builder of headers and exhaust systems. These are available in standard angles 90 degree 180 degree, we also will custom bend to your specifications. Sizes available are 3”- 5” radius, 2 ½” - 4.5” radius and 1 5/8”- 3.25” radius. In our shop in York, Pennsylvania we custom build headers and complete exhaust systems too. The mandrel bending process allows us to produce a kink free bend that flows up to 30% better than a pressure bent tube. Pressure bending is used at your local exhaust shop, it is great for the minivan but not for your special rod. Pressure bending is cheap and easy, mandrel bending is more complex and costly, but the results are worth the effort and expense.
