Custom Hot Rod Seat Frames By Bengels

Looking for that hard to find or near impossible to find seat frame for your vintage era ride? Bengels builds new custom fitted seat frames to your measurements that meet and exceed current OEM safety standards. All this while keeping the shape look of an original seat frame. Now you dont have to dig through wrecking yards just to settle for a seat that "kind of fits". You know the drill, go to the junk yard and find something close to fitting, wrestle it out of the vehicle then get it home, chop it up, then re work it to fit your ride. Buy it right the first time and be done with it.

Thanks to the CHR for this Opportunity to share! Cheers.

Hey guys I wanted to make all of the Club Hot Rod members aware of the Fathers day special we have going on right now until the 15th or so. We truly know what its like to try to build a car in this economic environment and as a result we are running things lean and mean at the shop these days. We are keeping the overhead down and passing the savings on to our customers. We have forgone the retailers and are passing their profits to our customers. These savings are passed on in our every day prices but when we have a sale it makes a very affordable seat even more affordable. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for everyone with a Passion for the old tin to have access to the best seat frame built today, and at a price that wont break the bank. If you are thinking about updating your seat frame in the near future now might be the time? Do some surfing and get a few prices to compare with ours. Don't forget prices for things like seat sliders, shipping, and other optional items. Then give us a crack at it. This sale price is the lowest price we have had in years and will be well worth the effort to shop now. Give me a PM and I will be able to help you with any questions you may have. Or look over the web site and contact me through there. Keep in mind the prices on the site are our regular prices. Sales prices are quoted...

    Thanks,

3 Bobs, on your first ad, do you have anymore pics of that rod? It appears it has some compound turbos on it and I'm guessing a not spark plug engine?

    Bucket T Seat Base

I had a request to build a lower seat base frame that would flip up for a bucket T. I hadn't seen it finished until just the other day so I took a few pics...

A few bucket style seats for the Cobra...

I built a bunch of things on this little cutey mostly the final aluminum work... Most proud of the aluminum engine surround that Mr. customer promptly had powder coated red to complete the Mc Donalds drive thru theme.

Way cool. Do you repurpose springs, or do you have bulk spring stock, if so, what is your source?

I buy the springs on a giant spool an cut them to fit my need. Then bend the ends to the needed configuration and on they go.
I buy from a local wholesale supplier. But the springs are available at any upholstery supply house in smaller quantities.

What a great Merc. My dream girl...I mean car... Nice craftsmanship on the seat frames!
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.
