Can I add my two "P" (penny for our American friends and not that drug) Steve, the fan guard looks excellent on the wall hanging but not the period correct look you are going for. Hey if somebody puts their finges into it while the motors is running they will so learn a quick lesson in sanity. Otherwise,,it is looking cool.I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

Steve,
That fan guard may not be period correct, I can't recall ever seeing a generator fan guard, but it sure is in keeping with the "holes theme", it's "real cool man". BTW, it has taken me 2 days to figure out what fan guard you guys were talking about. I have been looking for a radiator fan guard.

I know what your saying Jack, i didn't want to fit one but Health & Safety is really getting ridiculous in england these days so thought it might be worth fitting, I just tried to mate it with the car theme.
Thanks for the comments they are appreciated.

That's better Steve. Just amazing , " Less is more" , A simple solution to a tricky question eh. I would be keen to have that look on my motor.
Thanks for the link to the Willys also and man that will be awesome. Do you have to sell any of the finished projects to make room for the new project??
On a similar note Steve,Mum and I enjoy watching that English TV programme "Grand Designs" with that Kevin chap, but we are annoyed and simply stunned that you people build beautiful new homes BUT very rarely any with car garaging, let alone 3 to 4 car garaging with workshop space included. Now we are also aware that you folk are having a wee bit of a cold snap at the moment so is all the cars still sitting out in the weather????I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

Whip to be honest i thought right from the start of making the guard it would need cutting, just couldn't decide how much plus it was easier to make in one piece, I'm still not 100% happy with it but it will do for the mean time.
I guess those people with the expensive houses don't need a garage as after spending a million quid they can't afford a car
No cars outside thank god, Sue's is in the small garage at the front of the house and mine is in one of 3 lockups i hve at the end of our road.
It actually rained quite hard here yesterday so washed all the snow away
The Willys sits in one of the lockups as no room in the workshop for it yet, they are a lot bigger than i thought

My block came back from reboring +60 thou & new cam bearings on friday, My mate the reborer really done me a big favour and had it done in 2 days, so Gomez and I set to flatting the epoxy primer, The epoxy has been on over a week now so was rock hard, anyway after 4hrs of both of us with sore fingers it was ready for paint, here's the results.
It came out just as I imagined
