Thanks Roger, we have a thing called The Best in Britain but i'm not a fan of it myself, I know the judges and most have never built a Hotrod so what gives them the right to find stuff wrong on my cars, I don't really think they get what I do.

Thanks guys, I'm just about sick & tired of this rain, it has rained everyday here for the last month, maybe longer, another of our summers down the drain !!!

Great way to keep the details on par with the rest of the build! Sorry to hear about the rain there! We have had unusually excellent summer weather here, which is making paint the exterior f the house a lot easier(but makes me sad the truck has to sit on the sideline while higher priorities get done. I think once I go out on medical leave for my knee surgery, I'll have a 6 week period to focus on the truck(hopefully).

Steve - we even see news stories on the English monsoons:

And here - haven't seen enough rain this year to keep my grass green - it's crusty brown in most places. Hot - 90'sF plus, humidity way up as well.

Well with winter virtually upon us its time to get some more work done on this build, I have a customers body due shortly so Gomez my trusty helper came over today to help tidy up my lockup and make some room.
The T coupe body is incredibly heavy and needs 3 people to move it comfortably, this is mainly due to the floor, seat, firewall being made in 3/4" wood and oak in the A & B posts

I wanted to start afresh so decided all the wood except the B posts had to come out, I thought this was gonna be a pig of a job but as luck would have it the original builder made such a poor job of glassing it in it only took 3 hours to get it all out
A lot of the mat had not been fully saturated with resin and no surfaces had been keyed up either, I'm surprised it all stayed together really, The use of polyurethane expanding foam to fill the gaps wasn't ideal either !!!

Wow, you have a very cool project going on here! It amazes me what people try to do with fiberglass and they shouldn't even be allowed to touch glue let a lone fiberglass. Haha
