Looking good and my address to post them too when you have finished polishing is..... I have always wanted a set of them and I think they would help finish the look on my small block.

Keep up the good work, I'll bet by tomorrow you will be able to see your reflection in them.

Whiplash, you can get a new set of GM reproductions for $54 (USD) each from Pace Performance, click here to see them.

Thanks Mike, I checked out the Pace Performance site and I like them. Problem that I have is my ali. finned covers have to have a PCV valve to let the engine breath better. The after market covers I have also have a blank oblong area in the middle instead of the fins going right across the length of the cover. The other annoying thing is with my early Offy Tri Power manifold, I have a choice of three different oil filler openings.

I think those vette covers are the one that most people will agree just look "right" on any sbc engine, be it a traditional rod or otherwise. I love em.

What was the price back when they first came out, something like $ 17 a pair? Shoulda bought a bunch and stored them.

they make pretty cool side breathers that a few guys here have added to their covers to avoid messing up the lines and look on top. Don has some I believe on Project 3K.
