Don i just sat in the car and put it where it feels right, Having an uncomfortable steering column is a real pain.Its aweful lonesome in the saddle since my horse died.

I bit the bullet last night and decided to go with the 3.3/8" Quad gauges, The 5" were just to big to fit.
Also drilled some holes for warning lights, I've had these lights for about 25 years after i took them out of a scrap airplane, they are all stainless construction and real nice, haven't used them as they are a bit bigger than normal ones, I think they look ok in this dash though.
Its aweful lonesome in the saddle since my horse died.

I love using different looking things like those lights. So much cooler than 1-800 versions. Do you have a target date yet in mind for getting your gasser running? It looks like you are moving along quite well.

I was referring to the rusty bracket the holds the column and dash panel that you intend to powder coat.Oh well.my funny went flat this time,never mind.I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

Yeah as you know Don i prefer made over bought, it gives the car an air of personality i reckon.
I may be asking a lot of myself but would like to get it fired for our Hotrod drags in September, I'm not sure i can make it though as i have purchased a performance enhancer which is still in California at the momentIts aweful lonesome in the saddle since my horse died.
