Don i just sat in the car and put it where it feels right, Having an uncomfortable steering column is a real pain.

I bit the bullet last night and decided to go with the 3.3/8" Quad gauges, The 5" were just to big to fit.








Also drilled some holes for warning lights, I've had these lights for about 25 years after i took them out of a scrap airplane, they are all stainless construction and real nice, haven't used them as they are a bit bigger than normal ones, I think they look ok in this dash though.

I love using different looking things like those lights. So much cooler than 1-800 versions. Do you have a target date yet in mind for getting your gasser running? It looks like you are moving along quite well.

They're showing up fine for me. One thought, in "Settings" (upper right), General Settings, Thread Display Options is the box "Show Images" checked? Just a thought...

I was referring to the rusty bracket the holds the column and dash panel that you intend to powder coat.Oh well.my funny went flat this time,never mind.

Yeah as you know Don i prefer made over bought, it gives the car an air of personality i reckon.
I may be asking a lot of myself but would like to get it fired for our Hotrod drags in September, I'm not sure i can make it though as i have purchased a performance enhancer which is still in California at the moment
