A pair of very cool valve covers, Steve, and I agree that they would be something that an innovative guy would have done back in the day. Do the mounting holes have a "stepped" shoulder inside the mounting holes we see? Just wondering what type of attachment you plan?Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

Thanks Jack, It won't fall apart for sure but they are not the neatest run of beads I've ever done, When your doing it all day you get a rythem going but i do very little aluminium these days, But after saying all that i just got 2 aluminium welding jobs come in today, Spooky !!!
.Its aweful lonesome in the saddle since my horse died.

So how'd ya fare on the two jobs?.
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

After a lot of block sanding the main body is done, just the 4 fenders to do know which isn't so bad, Not bad for driveway built !!!
Looks completely different to me, I like it !!!
