No area left undone! Came out looking like a nice undercoating! Almost like what we call Rhinoliner! It does look gray!" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

Got the body back on last night, once it was bolted down I blew out all the dust that had acumalated, once it was all clean i brushed and rollered a coat of blue epoxy on the inside to seal it, this is something i do with all my cars as it gives a nice clean finish when your working inside the car.
.Its aweful lonesome in the saddle since my horse died.

Great to see it going back together with the shiny parts! I like that epoxy idea as opposed to my bare fiberglass. Wish I had seen this idea about two years back.... Oh well, on the next one, right?Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

Weather great again today so more fitting up, It amazing how a bit of nice weather lets you get so much done.
First job was to get the cage back in the car, I knew I had to cut holes for the rear legs and they had to be big as they have a stub with a flange on them. A hole was cut and the legs put through and loosly bolted in, then some cover plates were made up to cover the holes, they will be sealed when i get some more sealer, rear bulkhead has to be sealed for regs.
While I was there I decided to bond in some ply around the rear windows for the trimmer to attach the headliner too, This will have a full interior like a gasser should have.
Unfortunately I ran out of ply to do the other side , its bonded in with fibreglass paste
Cage all back in and bolted up.
.Its aweful lonesome in the saddle since my horse died.

I don't know Charlie..........................you know how fond of shiny brother Steve is. Looks to me like he's got a LOT of color sanding ahead to get that underside and inside buffer ready.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
