Wow Man your workmanship is outstanding. Tell me now,you are a panelbeater/bodyman by trade??? If not,you have a natural eye for custom body work. I absolutely think you have one beautiful car.I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

Have always loved the tubbed cars. Had one and sold it last year after 9 yrs. Liked the fact that you are not going to 20" rims either.....I really hate those big rims on older cars.
The workmanship is very cool and can't wait to see it in paint.

Looking forward to more pics of your chassis smoothing.
BTW, I like the way your car is set up still looking cool with the back wheel in place and no chassis under the car.

Thanks man Well news flash not a bodyman i actually never even picked up a welder before i started on this project just self taught,
"although i am an artist" and i feel i do have a keen eye for proportions and fine detail! lol
But i have done all the fabrication on the car i had a friend that is a bodyman come in and block the car! but thats all he does is make what i do smooth and hes only worked on the outside of the body and of course i'll have him paint it, its just what he does. and hes as anal as i am about lil details.
Thanks again i'll be sure to keep you updated!Last edited by Pro fleetline; 01-19-2011 at 11:47 AM.

Yeh thanks!
Oh i had to leave handles i did remove the locks but i felt the car needed a lil chrome left down the side i have all the orginal stainless for the window trim aswell its in great shape.
but i love just touching these handles that backward hook designs is so cool besides i didnt want to destroy the 40's feel to the car!
When i welded this hood to the fenders wow made a ton of work for myself i opended the hood at the body line and the top of the hood is pancake style but as you can see i had to build everything from scratch!
But i think will be worth the effort ecs. when parked next to another at a good show.Last edited by Pro fleetline; 01-19-2011 at 01:41 PM.
Several years ago we did quite a good trip of USA, and on our trip we got to meet Mike and Christine Frade. We didn't stay long with them, but in that relatively short time we both gained a great...
