remote fill master cylinder-
I want to convert my single master to a dual but want the convience of a remote fill- I have drums on all four wheels- is there a remote fill master that would bolt to my exsisting under floor pedal set up- I see many folks make a power booster/ remote dual set up- should I just do that- Thanks-
Ordered seat covers today from EZ to help with my ratty interior- 5 weeks wait on the covers so I want to get this brake item addressed-

If you want power brakes, then the booster/remote dual setup is the best way to do it....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Unless you're converting from drum to disc power brakes are really not going to give you much, if any difference in braking. Drums by design increase their braking with pedal pressure, while discs do not.Roger

Confusion!
I probably confused everyone with my question- I want to convert the existing single master to a dual master cylinder on 1946 Ford- I do not want to go power- my question was and is- is there a remote fill master that will bolt to my stock pedal set up on the 1946- it was recommended I change it out but don't know what unit to use- has anyone done this conversion and what did you use-

If you're using the stock pedal setup then you'll need the adapter to fit a later two bolt M.C.;http://www.chassisengineeringinc.com/page70.html and remote on pg 81.
For other remote fill there are a number of kits out there, here's one example from many: http://ecihotrodbrakes.com/remote_fi..._cylinder.htmlLast edited by Bob Parmenter; 03-26-2011 at 02:53 PM.
