    But does the average builder have this many re-do's?

    Check out the next MESS!

    Headlight plates are canted backwards on the inboard side.
    The worst thing though is the fact that the bottom of the hood would be following the roller coaster shape shown in the first pic.










    So back to making another buck on top of the existing trash............








    Cutting out the mess............









    And adding in the new panel......







    Of coarse I will need to cut out the brand new headlight plate I just installed but that seems pretty trivial compared to the rest of the problem.
