Got a few more things put together. It took a lot of time on the manifolds this week; I had four broken bolts in the intake, one in the exhaust, and the heat riser was stuck closed. So after getting all that straight I finally got it put together. Also got the rear shocks on and the issue with the shift linkage and master cylinder worked out. Next is get the brakes bled and adjusted, plus finish putting the rest of the motor back together. Should be putting a front clip back on before too long.

Dave, when this thing fires up I imagine the neighbors will think the muffler fell of my weed eater. I hope to be able to do a test drive by the end of the month and just have a few details to wrap up. Being ready for spring cruzin should be a piece of cake. (I hope I didnt just jinx myself)

I think that's called "shooting yourself in the foot"...........Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.
Luck occurs when preparation and opportunity converge.

looks great and i wouldn't have shot the firewall with paint. the original paint (assuming its original) is still in too good of shape to go shooting some new paint on over it. Motor looks really nice all dudded up!

Can't believe I have missed this thread so far!
Better late than never!
Rig is looking great! I especially like the idea of a RPU...Dirk Pitt had an old Rolls Royce that had the same affliction.
Thanks for sharing and keep the posts coming!...at least I'm enjoying the ride!
Thank you Roger. .
