Frame Stretch..........
My buddy Andy (from the V8 S10 boards) came down from Pittsburgh,Pa for a visit & some bartering. The thing about it is that crazy SOB is the one that said, "Hey Joe I have some vacation to burn, how about I come for a visit & do that welding." Never mind he was going to drive about 10hrs to get here. I asked what he wanted for doing all the welding & he said some S10 parts I had. A deal was made, he showed up yesterday evening.
We got started at 7am, took a couple of food & rest breaks(MRI for me) in between all the welding & grinding going on in the garage & finally came in at 10pm.
We'll finish up all the welding tomorrow & will have stretched the frame 14.75" in the middle & 7" at the end so it's the correct lenght.
Stretch..........................
What more could I say but, THANKS Andy for all the help.....joeLast edited by TooMany2count; 08-10-2011 at 06:36 AM.

And that's what friends do! Awesome! Please refresh my memory (and maybe some others) - what's the plan for this frame??"Where the people fear the government you have tyranny. Where the government fears the people you have liberty." John Basil Barnhil

Its going under Large Marge my 1ton bus, decided to get rid of the S10 frame for a stock style frame.
Less special parts to buy, plus the suspension kit I am using uses GM Metric parts, which I have from the S10 Frame.Donate Blood,Plasma,Platelets & sign your DONORS CARD & SAVE a LIFE

Joe, just noticed your springs. I realize Marge is Large, but don't you think those are a higher rate than necessary?Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
