Getting real close to firing this thing up. I finished all the engine wiring and fuel lines, put in an HEI distributor, plus finished the fender wells and got them and the fenders bolted on and adjusted. It was really nice out yesterday so I put the back wheels on and rolled it outside to see what the stance looks like. I used 2" blocks in the back and cut a coil in the front; I think it's about right where I want it. It was cool to be able to roll it out and clean the spot where it's been sitting for several months. It was a mess.Last edited by falconvan; 11-22-2012 at 05:53 AM.

That's what im going for; I like the stocker look with a few extra beans where it counts. You cant call a 318 "fast" but it will definitely have more get up and go than the 100 hp flattie. This is a great weekend to get stuff done in the garage; extra days off and this is my wife Christmas decorating weekend. I just pull the boxes of decorations out of storage and get the hell out of her way! Her and my youngest daughter are on a mission as soon as those boxes get opened.

We call this "Transformation Friday", as the day the house is transformed from "normal" to "CHRISTMAS!!!" My job is to get the boxes out (about 35 ), set up the tree and get the lights working, and get the outside lights up (done two weeks ago on a 70F day!!) Getting started on the box movement now....Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

Thanks, guys; Im really itching to fire this dog up and see what she sounds like. More stuff done; the grill and all the little panels behind it are bolted on, plug wires on, swapped to a Demon carb, accelerator cable and pedal done other than hooking it up to the carb, battery tray built and installed, and the radiator came in today. It looks like it's going to be a good fit; just need to build a mount for it.
Thank you Roger. .
