Today was cleanup day; I had grinding dust and tools everywhere. I rolled the car out and gave it a quick blow off and wash and touched up the paint on the frame along with starting the tear down on the 727. It sat in a shed for many years so I figured I rebuild it. Now the shop is clean; I can trash it again.1 Corinthians 1:27

Naw my shop is as clean as it has ever been since buying my 48 truck!, just for different reasons....divorce. The good thing is my new place will have a shop with just my stuff in it, no addition junk stuffed in there that never gets used opened or moved! Still a lot of it is mine!" "......Sounds like I've started a community guilt trip!......"
Not here......mine was so bad after after getting dads took box restored and the Ram 50 running that I had to do the fall cleaning Sunday and Monday.
Besides you have to have a conscience to feel guilt
"........Clean shops are nice; too bad they never last very long......."
Ya had to bring that up didn't you.
.I've NEVER seen a car come from the factory that couldn't be improved.....

Once I got the trans apart I found the case was cracked where the pump bolts in so I ended up buying another trans for parts from one of the local Mopar racers. I took the best parts from both along with a rebuild kit, B&M shift kit, and a 2800 stall converter to get it all together. Now she's bolted down for good and I can start putting everything else together. It was my first trans rebuild; fingers crossed that it all works. I used a 727 service manual and several You Tube videos for guidance.1 Corinthians 1:27

Lots of little stuff done lately; wires, misc fittings, R&P mounted, etc. I got the floor put back together and worked on modifying the Jag shifter today. The cable is a little short so I'm going to try and use a B&M cable on it.1 Corinthians 1:27

Kudos for the initiative on the overhaul of the trans. Like most things - it isn't so bad once you get in there!
I'm still waiting for you to deliver that Cleveland motor from Ryan!!!
I really like the "artwork" / paint on the dash! Nice work on all the details, they always seem to just consume the most time tho'..

That's the truth; the most time and they nickel and dime you to death.
I was looking at distributor options and found a place that machines this little bracket that bolts on the stock distributor allowing use of an HEI module. Super slick and only $25. I've got all the engine wires run and and am not too far away from a test fire.1 Corinthians 1:27

Yes, nickel and dime you is almost an understatement!
And I agree with Ryan. that's a sweet addition for that dizzy. It's not even mine but I can't wait to read you've fired it up
I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
