Thanks. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I've gained a lot of knowledge on what seems to work decent on different trucks from doing all these conversions.

I also forgot I have an oil filter relocator kit that my buddy in Co modified for me. I'm considering putting a tool box door in the RH front lower corner bed side and moving my batteries there to get some weight off the front end. Also, since I'm getting the D60 from him too, he's leaving the upgraded dodge disc brakes he put together for it. That means no more 16" wheels, but awesome braking power.

Right now I've spent a lot of money on the truck but no pic worthy progress. For now I'm going to hold off on the front air ride and get the truck finished and drive it. I purchased 4 new 33 12.5 16.5 BFG AT KO tires, got my billet input shaft and a double deep trans pan for the trans, I got a Lokar locking dipstick, and a Lokar throttle pressure cable. I just got a new American Auto Wire update wire harness for it as well. My goal is to have the bed painted, the stack removed and tail pipes installed, and the truck running and driving enough to take it to Torque Fest May 2nd.

Here are some pics of the parts and pieces I've been collecting for this truck lately.

Billet grill. It was cheap on another forum. I don't know if I'll put it on the truck or not. Probably not. I'll probably put it in another surround and hang it on the wall.

Some new knobs and misc. Kind of matches the vintage with a newer bling factor.

Trans dipstick, throttle pressure cable, lower rear bed mouldings, and a trans cooler.

The trans cooler had some damaged fins from shipping. I repaired them the best I could.

And finally my new tires. I'm currently stuck trying to decide to go back to steel wheels and hub caps, the current aluminum wheels on it, or a set of aluminum wheels that just have holes like a M/T classic. I'm looking at a set of the M/T's this weekend. I like the steels but the hub caps are always a bear to get off and put on without scratching the wheel or damaging the cap. I'm probably going to stay with aluminum. We shall see.

I took a picture of my billet input but you really can't tell any difference than a stocker. For $700 you'd think it'd be gold.

Randy, thanks for that tip and vid. I just may have to get one of those if I go with steels.

Have to bring this one out of the dead and knock the dust off it. A few weeks ago we put the truck in the barn to avoid some severe weather and hail heading our way. Last weekend we got it back out and I put on the new to it wheels and new tires. The only thing I'm going to change is powder coat the lock out centers blue.

I've got to finish some repairs on my Super H, clean the shop, and then it's back to work on the Longhorn. I've got a whole list of stuff to finish and get done so I can start driving this thing.

Charlie, they're just painted. I figured if I didn't like it, it was easier to change it. I'm planning on powder coating them now that I like the look.

This past Saturday I got the wife to help me move the Horn in the shop. Her arms were hurting a bit after that deal. I have to remove my grill to install my trans cooler so I'm trying to decide to leave the stock type or install my billet insert? I like both so it's a toss up to me.

I'm finally getting around to installing my White Rhino Fab bumper too. It's beastly for sure! I've got to drill the holes for it tomorrow. That should be good fun. (Not really)

I picked up a 21gal tank from one of my budies that I'm going to try to fit in the back of the frame for now. I really want a 35-40 gal tank in the end, but right now time is the issue. This one should work fine and make a guy feel like he's driving cheap with such a small tank.

One of my brother's friends gave him a whole kit of Al's liner, and he gave it to me. (Actually I took it out of his hands. Haha) So now I have to get the gun and 2 more kits to do my bed the way I want to do it.

Some slow progress on the pumpkin truck. It won't be making good guys this year. I decided not to rush it together to bring it back home and continue working on it, or redo things I had to do to get it drivable for two days.

I put different air bags on it because I didn't like how the other ones wouldn't air up as far as I'd like. Plus they looked super full.

Air in them with truck level.

I am redoing my exhaust and working on getting duals out the back behind the tires. All my exhaust is 4" but it will turn to 5" before it gets to the rear tires. I made my own Y pipe and the exhaust goes over the frame rail and will follow the frame until the air bag mounts and after that, they will go down and out.

My transmission is done so now I need to repaint it and finish my trans mount. I'm debating changing my trans cross member too, but I may leave it as I might have entire new plans for this truck. Or another, can't decide.

Here's a couple hours of work and contemplation. Sure doesn't look like it. I did decide I get to alter/modify my upper air bag brace so I can run the exhaust where I want to.

No sir. Wish I was. It shouldn't be a huge thing. I plan on just cutting the sides and bringing the angle down from the back to the front so I can get the clearance I need for the exhaust to pass through there. In the pic you can see the big brace I'm going to have to modify. It's the pieces coming off the frame and over the upper bag mount.
