Cough.. Cough... gasp! Green Tractors?!?!?! it might run like a deer but it still smells like a JOHN! jkjkjk

I doubt the kids will ever forget having a tractor of their own to ride around on. I know I never did!

Yesterday I dropped off the wheels at the blaster's place. I started getting quotes to get the wheels powder coated. $65/wheel is the cheapest so far. I think I will be painting them with a gun..............

On the green tractors, mine smells like power. Not a John. It's a torque monster with that power block. It's a wheelie puller so you have to be careful. Haha It's easier to drive the Super H though. The steering is easy and the foot clutch makes it easier to give kiddos rides.

The blaster still isn't done with the wheels and stuff. It may be a couple weeks because it's supposed to rain every day except 2 this week. I have been knocking off the parts lists though. I was going to get a cruise control kit to work with my dakota digital cluster, but I decided for things I need/want worse to drive it right now. So I ordered a 3 spoke steering wheel, and a new dvd/cd player with a 7" touch screen. I mainly want this for the blue tooth capabilities and the back up camera will be handy. I had to go with a screen that protrudes down unstead of up and that narowed my selection. I got a Boss brand one that seemed to have more positive than negative reviews. We shall see. My compushift mini came on Friday too. I also was able to get the new pick up tube in Allyson's Excursion on Saturday. I'm hoping to get it running this week so I can get the 72 in the shop. Here are some bad pics of the house we're buying too.

Looks like a good house for a growing family but you sure will have to reduce your projects to fit everything there.
Hope you guys enjoy making it into a home!

Yeah, most of my stuff will have to stay at my shop at my parent's place. I'm thinking of putting a 2 car car port behind the garage so I can park a project and my daily driver in there and leave the garage for a spot for the wife, and one for the 40. My plan is to work on the 40 at home once we get the house set up, repaired, and the fence put up. So maybe November I can work on the 40 again? Hopefully in 5-10yrs we can find an acerage near this community and then we can do all the things we want to do. We'll see.

Looks like a nice place Ryan (garage on the smallish size.......but I'd say that even if the garage took up a full block).

I'll be real interested in hearing how the Compushift works out.

I missed a couple of posts and caught up with them this morning. The mention of the 52 A brought back some memories. Growing up on the farm we had a 52 A for a chore tractor (it was our middle sized tractor of the 3 Dad had). It was the first tractor my brother and I learned how to operate........I'd hate to guess how many thousands of hours I spent on that one growing up.

Mike, I know a couple guys who have them in their cummins conversion trucks and they are really happy with them. The A is my favorite of any tractor I've had at the moment. It's just cool. And yes, the garage is small. Luckily my shop at my parent's place is only about 8 miles away.

Thanks! It's the biggest house, yard, and has a garage, we could find in our price range. I didn't expect it to be this hard to find a place. Once we get this deal done, I'll probably hear of 5 more. Haha

It's funny you say that. I told my wife I'd like to have a Husky some day. This was a few weeks ago. Saturday morning she wakes me up and says she found some on facebook and we ended up going and buying one. We'll be able to bring her home May 4th. The appraisal got done yesterday on the house. There may be 2 issues that need to be fixed before the deal gets closed. We'll hear in the next few days.
