Happy New Year to you and your family Randy, thanks for the update on your builds and absolutely love the Bucket. Oh and I know you have been told this before but, I will say it again, darn , that is a awesome colour.... I was going to comment on the cat too but Dave got in first. I have just put my faithful old Silly cat down last Saturday due to her kidneys not working. She walked into my home in Auckland one day and just never left, I always thought she belonged to the neighbours but when I sold my place, I told them that they could have their cat back now, but to my surprise, they said, no we always feed her while you were away with your job, every other week, but she isn't ours so I picked her up and she moved with me. Your work is something I can only dream about doing Randy..
I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

Thanks..Great to hear from you.. It's hard for y'all to really see how nice this color really is... In person, It look's like it's plugged in.. Very nice color for sure.. Been trying to picture this color on the C-Cab.. But still leanning to a WILD color..

As for te cat.. He's cool to have around.. Like having a best friend.. Even find myself talking to him through out the day..

I'm wait for him to talk back to me one day... And Yes I'm legally Crazy... It's Ok !!!!

As far as my work goes.. Anyone can do it.. I feel anyone can do anything they set their minds to do it...

I push myself to only out do me..And so far every car only get's better.. I tried my hand at everything from a $3000.00 dollar build to a high dollar build.. Just to see if I could..

I'm a strong believer and setting no limits on yourself.. Push yourself to be the best at anything you set out to do.. And NEVER give up or put it off until tomorrow.. With me.. Tomorrow may never come.. Live for TODAY..

And this is only a one time deal when you first attempt to register a completed car. If you bought the car from someone and it had already been registered, then the paperwork/tags is simply computer data entry.

Most of the "ratty" style rides that "we" would call into question are usually a re-done car so they don't ever go through any inspection process as they were already registered.

Lastly, we also have an annual vehicle inspection. For safety and emissions. My car is exempt as a replica, so I have it easier than someone who went and got his car registered as a "Real" 1934 Ford! The only emission equipment I'm required to have is a pcv valve! Those guys with the "real" cars have to meet the requirements for the year of manufacture for their motor and ALL emmisions equipment must be in place. But the reality is that the local shops do a cursory inspection, lights / wipers / plate light / glass / "mufflers".. that kind of thing, check the balljoints/kingpins.. look at the tire tread and move on.
    Thanks.
    And thanks Dave too.

Randy I hear ya on cats.
My old cat Goff would follow me around the place like a shadow, totally ignoring the missus.
I was setting up some steel to be welded one day while sitting on a wee box, with my helmet up and my handpiece hanging across my knee.
The cat was sitting alongside me on the front tyre of the tractor, and decided to jump onto my lap.
I jumped, my helmet fell closed, and mashed the cigarette I had in my mouth into my face and down my shirt-front.
I jumped again, and dropped my hand-piece onto the work I was setting up, where it promptly arced.

When I got things back under control Goff was nowhere to be seen.

But he forgave me...he came back...as smoochy as ever...

That must have been funny to see..

The first time I got down on my hands and knees to weld something.. And my first cat jumped up on my back.. I didn't know what the H*** was going on.. Everything went flying... It was only me and him in the shop.. And out from no where's something jumps on your back.. Talk about a crazy feeling.. So from that point on.. When I bent over to do somethng.. I would always think he was coming..

My first cat.. He would watch me back up to my car trailer. Laying in the yard.. He wouldn't do anything until I set the trailer on the ball.. When the trailer hit the ball.. He was running to the trailer.. I didn't catch it at first.. But after a while.. I seen what he was doing..

One day my truck was backed up to the trailer, But not hooked up.. A friend stopped by,, we was talking and I could see him hinding in the flower bed watching..I looked at my friend and said.. Watch this.. I started to set the trailer down on the ball,, When the trailer hit the ball.. He came running and slid onto the trailer.. My friend looked at me and said.. Look's like he want's to go for a ride... I said.. Yes he does !!!!

These are a little out of line.. But since this was my first T-bucket build.. I had to also try my hand at a top for it.. So here's a few shots of what I have so far..
