    I believe that in 58 some 348s had tri power in the Impala. I myself always like the look of that block.

    Yep, in the cars they came either a 4B or 3x2's but the outer two carbs on the 3x2's were vacuum operated when the throttle hit ~60%. That's why one of the "trick" upgrades was progressive linkage back in the day (so the big boys said - I was only about 11 or 12).
