I believe that in 58 some 348s had tri power in the Impala. I myself always like the look of that block.I have two brains, one is lost and the other is out looking for it

Yep, in the cars they came either a 4B or 3x2's but the outer two carbs on the 3x2's were vacuum operated when the throttle hit ~60%. That's why one of the "trick" upgrades was progressive linkage back in the day (so the big boys said
