Bat,
I think the problem with the video may be that your "settings" on FB probably limits viewing to your "friends". The common riff-raff is blocked from seeing your pictures and videos.Roger

I'm planning building home made log intake for my "Y" for 4 carbs{94s] ,just to sex up my "Y",I've given up on finding a 2x4 set up like I had wayback,there gold now near as I can tell,beside it's going to be fun fabing up a log intake,I have the 94's anyway.
Haven't done one in 20+ years,so get the cobwebs out. I always liked the look of lots of carbs,as long as they ran good= I had a buddy with 6x2 that must of been a little too much for his "Y",we never did get that set up to be smooth at idel.Last edited by The Bat; 09-05-2014 at 03:45 PM.

Wow that will give the Y Block some awesome wow factor. I like the way you have it looking now but four 94's on a log will certainly be cool Dana.
I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

doesn't the one by the distributor get kind a close or was that just on the 6 x 2s IIRC?

Yes Jerry,the right bank has to be built with out log over hang, but carb can still be above ports,vs 6x2 its better if end carbs are outside of ports so some flow is pulled better from center carb as well. My plan is to put in a devider at ports vs most logs just use a open tube as a feed to log from the head. I'm looking for a tube to make my log out of less then 3in. ,maybe 2.5in.=idea is too cut back on pluntum size a little making better low end then big size{ I don't need super top end for racing. I found a interesting link on building log intakes;

My son got me a hideaway radio/SD card player,an speakers 4 my B-Day. Cool,I did not really want a radio to show in the dash.
Plan is to put the 50cent size remoto control on the side of steering colume=only thing that can be seen. SD card with about 200 1950/60 tunes should help nicely. Set the mood when driving,back in time when I could actuly get my fav. tunes on WQAM or WFUN Miami,all the local oldy stations here think 80 ,90 is oldys.Last edited by The Bat; 09-24-2014 at 08:46 AM.

The SD card sounds are working,find myself turning them on as I do clean-up n detailing,seems to go better with a good old beat.
Hunted around my scrap crap an found leftover parts of two old drive shafts I made shorter some time back. One looks justright size @ 2.5in. ID for my log 4x2 intake and the other slitely smaller part should work good for carb plate to log spacer after some shaping in the vice. Photos when I get to it! But here's my plans,maybe a "F" in drafting,but idea should work.Last edited by The Bat; 10-04-2014 at 07:04 AM.
