IIRC cylinders 1 and 2 fire consequetly and probably suck open power valve on that carb-all other adjacient ports don't fire that way----I think it was an issue on the old Fenton dual quad manifolds also

Change positions with that and one of the other carbs to see if its the carb or the location

Thanks for ideas,Jerry. I'm not using any powervalves at all, there blocked off plugs in them, takes off good and runs strong through all gears. But idel is on n off again, sometimes dose OK,others it stalls an lots of drip leaking from RF carb. I lowered the float two times and it dose not feel like it is sinking, but will check all again, shaft is not sloppy,I'll find prob, but haven't yet

I see the deco, where's the art?

    Or perhaps I should comment:
Nice seat covers, but where do you sit?

One time a year we get invited to our local sportscar clubs FARA,races,to show an run a praide lap before there event. So we are not aloud to pass anyone,on the race track an must stay behind the pacecar. The trick is to get in the rear to start with, slow down,so coming up on the back straight away we have a big gap between us an cars ahead, then close the gap for max fun. This is closing the gap going into turn 3,running just over 100 MPH+ at Miami Homestead Speedway
"Don't try this if your car dose not handel super well" I set up both hotrods,an made my living at designing an building racecars for 50years,beside the hotrods.

Wahoo! Tons of fun! Somewhere I have a picture of me and wife in my old C-Cab taking some laps around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 1978. We were stuck behind a pace car and told that 60 mph was our max speed. We were also told they had state police radar stationed around the track; anyone caught speeding would be escorted out of the event. I still wonder if they just told us that to keep us in line; I never saw any radar guns... Anyway, it was fun.

Hey that turned out very well, like the design. Having the carbs turned back and being able to hear them gobbling air ... priceless

BTW: I like the positive or hard link from the gas peddle to the linkage. That looks like a simple thing, but can be hard to pull off . Cables lack two things, the feel and the stout look of a hard link. thumbs UP!

We're at our fav. pizza place last nite, with hotrods,an a few other guys with nice custom classics. My buddy with his T I helped him built is always joking around an he is deadhard Chevy guy,so even though my races car had SBC,I have't be the Ford guy to add to the banter fun back an forth. He's the one that gave me his cracked set of SBC chrome EX headers, that I cut the flange off of an welded a Y Ford EX flange on by just putting a little gap between the center pipes{ all the rest lines up dead on to the Ford { see header in Post #305} . So doing his Chevy man thing last nite,he tell every one standing around just after I trun off my car, Hear that,"A Ford never sounded so good with Chevy headers !"
My comeback this time was,"Your right they do sound a lot better now then they did on a SBC" Even the other Chevy guys had to LOL a little,I'm out numbered by SBC now days most shows.
