Thought I posted pictures of this but don't see them I've been driving it about a month now. Wish I'd put an O/D trans in it, it tends to DRINK GAS, My foot being up by the fan would have nothing to do with it, RIGHT.Charlie

Wouldn't have worked Charlie. The cam you're runnin' makes power from about 3000 to 6600. Most overdrive trans systems rev the motor to around 2000 at cruise. The motor would be under the operating range of the cam by about 1000 rpm's at cruise and fuel mileage would likely be worse than what you're experiencing now. AND....power at 2000 rpm's would be horrid. Think about it, you'll never see a factory overdrive transmission used with a hotrod cam.
