But as I now have angle plug heads I bought Hooker Headers to match. They were the only ones that made them>> SOO I found out they will work great IF you are running auto trans. There is a tube running next to the oil filter and that is where the linkage is supposed to go. Today after cutting the linkage arm off the third time and rewelding it I think I have it to where the linkage will fit without hitting the tube or the filter. BUT because I cut the adjusting rod shorter back 2 steps it is now to short. I found another one so all is (almost ) Who says modifying cars (trucks) ain't fun. If my camera was working I show pictures . That to is giving me fits.
been there a time or to last three were chevy II s one with sbc with angle plug heads other two were bbc in chevy II s one with 2 3/8 tube headers after i was done i was in a padded room and took up basket making ...decided there must be a better way to make money... then building headers so i stop building them .not sure if i ever will be fully healed as i still talk to my self and sometimes i do not know who.s taking to me
