Steve, my wife got started on Coro Street and Emerdale, they viewed one after the other, while we lived in the Puget Sound area, we got the CBC channel there. Then she got me hooked on it.
Now that we live in the Boise Id. area we watch Coro Street on the internet. Being on the internet we can watch it anytime so we watch it in bed to fall asleep.
