Looking great Bam. I'm interested in the air filter enclosure you made. Any chance you could post more photos and details about it? I'm building a similar project, a '57 p/u with LT1 power and the air filter is nearly in the same position as your LS engine.

Thanks man and yes the portable shed is great for painting but even better for getting out of the sun while working on the truck.

Sucks you had to repaint, I've had a couple paint jobs go bad, shit happens when you are a do it yourselfer. I had a v8 s10 that I painted and the clear went dull and I sanded and polished but there was no saving it, had to repaint.
    You're almost there.
Yeah it sucked having to repaint but I looked at it as now I can do a even better job.lol

I did not make that air filter enclosure I bought it at Summit Racing. Its a Spectre 9831 Inline Air Box. Here is a link to it https://www.summitracing.com/parts/s...xoCDsoQAvD_BwE

Lookin' really good, BAM! You've done a ton of top drawer work on this truck and you should be proud of the results!

Coming along real nice! It is going to be a very clean looking truck. That's a lot of work going into the bed. Interesting solution for your gas filler too. I like your thing of doing black primer and then gray, good idea.

Thanks a lot man, I'm just happy I'm getting to the end of it. Now I just have to find time to keep working on it.

    Finally got the bed painted

I also decided to make a center console. I will have it upholstered to match the seat.
