Wish her well...The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.

Me too! Wish you both a quick return to normalcy and good health, the car can wait, take care of "the boss" first.

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

thanks every one. knew I picked the right forum everyone here is awesome. Havnt been able to do too much got about an hr today so just worked on stiching new firewall in. taking it slow to minimalize any distortion. and yes both the rod and my jeep help me keep my sanity nothing more relaxing than burning some metal.

Doing some catching up on you're thread, and like the others I'd like to pass on best wishes and prayers for your wife.
I like the work on the firewall template. I'm guessing you're going to be fabricating a new toe board and trans tunnel to fit around the 46RE?
I went thru that on my 37 Dodge PU project, those 46RE/RHs are a pretty big lump to work around.
Here's what I came up with.
I've NEVER seen a car come from the factory that couldn't be improved.....

As a widower myself, please accept my sincere condolences.
Get your paperwork in order. As much as you don't want to deal with it now, you'll not regret it later.
Please find peace..
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.
