Wow
Rich,
I have just spent several hours glued to my computer looking at this project from the very beginning. I don't know how I missed this one. Your metal fabing and metal work is what any Pro would take credit for. You are an inspiration to us all. I will be getting back to my project soon, after a several year time out, and you have shown me many ways to better complete my project and even shown me areas where I need to redo some of what I have already done. I can't wait to see yours completed.

Jack, thanks so much for the kind words, I have learned so much from others build threads.
Hope to update mine soon, I'm slow but I keep picking at it! Would love to see you start posting
on yours!
Take care, Richhttp://www.clubhotrod.com/hot-rod-bu...del-coupe.html

Like the idea that somebody besides me purges the inside of stainless tube as they weld and also like how you have raised the mount for the panard bar to the 9er pumpkin!!!

I had always meant to show pic of the front shock mounts.
[IMG][/IMG]
The last pic has the panhard bar mount also. Both mounts are 1/4" angle shaped
to fit the rails. All bolts have heavy duty nuts welded in the frame. The
combination mount has a bolt that passes thru frame, and has a tube welded in
to prevent collapse.

Thank's Jerry! As an old pipe fitter purging stainless was required. I tried to keep the panhard bar parallel at ride height.

Front line pic.
[IMG][/IMG]
Pic shows the tank fittings. The fuel line is 3/8" 304 SS also. The pick up assembly is
from Tanks, and has a feed, return line, and vent fitting. The vent line is 5/16" which
I capped, and used the 3/8" return line for the vent line after cutting off the drop
that goes to the bottom of the tank. I ran the vent line as high as was possible
before running it out along the rear frame rail to the back of the car.

Rich, fine work as always. That center member is just what an A frame needs when hp is added. As thorough as you are you may have already done so and it doesn't show in the distance shots but I would suggest a couple gussets on that steering box bracket to reduce flex.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

Bob:
Yes the box does get gussets, the bracket is only tacked right now. I was fussing with the exact location
till the very end of fabrication. I had to modify the drivers motor mount to get the box in the right spot.
That 525 is larger than the Vega box, but I thought it was needed with the weight of the Hemi.
Ryan:
Wilcap supplied the adapter(not cheap! LOL) also the cutch, flywheel, and mini starter.

I like that "poor man's rotisserie"!! Might have to consider that, since I'll likely only need one one more time....Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.
Getting closer on this project. What a lot of work!
