Machining the drain bung. Drain bung finished ready to be welded in.

Fuel pump / sender with my mount rings installed so you can see the set up before installed in tank. All fittings tacked in tank ready for final welding.

With the direct upload of files on your computer you should be able to get five at a time, and what I do is upload the files and then hit the "Preview Post" button at the bottom right, beside the "Submit" button. That shows you your post, in the order the computer has decided to put your photos, but retains the text box below so you can go in and add spaces between photos as well as adding captions as you wish. You can also highlight and move your picture files to change the order. Second tip, occasionally highlight your post message and "copy" it, and be sure to do a "copy" before hitting "Submit" so that if the system chooses to go squirrelly you don't have to start from scratch, you can simply "paste" back into a new post and re-submit. You can also go back into any post and hit "Edit Post", and do the same things.

Welcome ----------I have spend 2 cups coffee time looking at the details in your work and shop------seems that we got some of the same equipment couldn't see all of your press, but that Lincoln 255 looks just like mine--------


I also saw only a couple NPT fittings and really like the fact that you work with hard lines---

Thanks for all the kind words. I was not sure if I would bore everyone with all the pics and text, looks like you guys like it. I will be more descriptive from now on. If anyone wants to see more details about a certain part let me know as I have LOTS of pics of the build. Any questions feel free to ask. If you are referring to the red press I was just painting it for a guy. My press is blue 33 ton. I like to do all hard lines in stainless, I just put flex lines where there is movement. I have some real trick flex hard lines did not use them on this truck as this is going to be daily driver.

This is the two to one air manifold I make. This one will be replaced as when I taped the 1/2" pipe threads I some how got the tap running crooked. The open 1/4" hole is for the pressure switch. I am still prototyping the aluminum housing for it.

I am going to place the filler cap behind the left taillight so I need to see where the best place to route the tube to the fuel tank will be. I do not want to have it intrude into the bed area as I think that will be dead give away as to where the filler is. The connection between the tank and filler neck will be a slip/compression o-ring coupling.
