John Deere Repaint
Not really the right thing for this forum but I think It'll still fit in somehow. We got this tractor in at work and it was kind of a basket case. It would randomly stop moving and two other dealers couldn't figure it out other than it was a wiring problem. It was bought by a tractor jockey we work with and he dropped it off, however we didn't know the interior was completely torn apart and every wire harness was yanked out and hacked up and spliced all over. It honestly looked like a tangled up wad of kite string in the cab. I gave up on the harness it came with rather quickly and we ordered a new $4000 harness for it and to my amazement it went in pretty well and after fighting a few electronic glitches, everything worked great. For the cosmetic part of it I put on a new hood and side panels because the old ones somehow got destroyed during the trucking process, and I also replaced one rusted out rear fender. We made the decision to repaint the rest of the green and repaint the wheels instead of trying to shine up the remaining bad paint. Now I have another project after work but it's kind of nice to make money instead of spend it for once.Seth
