Progress. Welded up the cut in the door and removed the alignment clamps

Also made some progress on the drivers side bed side and engine vents. Welded in the mounting strips and grafted in the vents but still have lots of tack welds and grinding to go.

Todays progress. The panel has many small imperfections but it should be easier to hammer them out now that it is held in place.

Very kewl, Ben! Those front turn indicators are unique, to say the least! Wondering if folks will see them or not? Mine on the '33 flash amber on the bottom of the headlights, and it seems that no one acknowledges the signal as I approach an intersection where I'm turning right, and they are waiting to proceed - their loss, as I've clearly signaled, but wondering how the "lighted tips" will do for you. They may be enough different that they attract attention, but if not maybe if you incorporate some longhorn spacing??

Just jerking your chain a bit on the lights. Really like the side scoop compared to the louvers! Very trick, and should be very effective, too.

    Thanks for posting the link.

'Tis a shame to cover those louvers
    .
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

That air inlet is a great touch! I like the great idea on your turn signal mounting system too!

Thanks so much for all the encouragement! As far as finishing it out, the current plan is all black with the chrome and stainless accents

Very nice work. Black and chrome look good on just about anything!

That will look great! I just noticed you have the back tires I'm thinking about getting for my car. Have you driven through any water yet? How do you like those tires over all?

I have not driven in the rain yet, but otherwise, I like them very much!
