Large Marge's Transformation Begins
Marge is in the shop and her transformation has began. Body work has been started and some primer has been sprayed, suspension checked, frame is painted, drivetrain has been mocked up, fuel tank mounted and Rich at PMK needs a case of Ben-Gay for his over worked shoulders. Lot's of real-estate covers Marge, she ain't a petite gal she's more of a Full Figure Gal
Will post more as work gets done....joeLast edited by TooMany2count; 08-13-2015 at 06:30 PM.

Congrats, Joe! I've seen Marge in person and can attest that she's a full figured gal. Nothing wrong with a few extra pounds as long as she carries them well. Looking forward to pictures!1 Corinthians 1:27

That's a fantastic paint scheme, Joe! It's going to look smashing, as our friends across the pond like to say. I really like the light top with traditional school bus yellow, and the silver stripe is just icing on the cake. Great job!Roger

Thanks folks, I was going to have it painted all orange but told Rich he did have some creative control since he was a builder & I was just a guy w/an idea of what he wanted. He said he'd play w/some different paint schemes and when he showed me the above picture it was like "OH hell yeah I like it". The top is a light cream, silver stripe on the body line & the orange is the stock 1948 Chevy orange, which he had the original paint code for. There will also be a thin purple pin striping that will run above/below the silver stripe. I feel like that 10yr old kid back in 1966 when my parents gave me that banana seat bike w/those high-rise handlebars......joeDonate Blood,Plasma,Platelets & sign your DONORS CARD & SAVE a LIFE
