Don't get me started on that. While I was laid up I told my wife to take my daily for a ride once a week to keep the battery fresh and the fluids moving. She hates my car so she didn't. So $174 later for a new battery I start it up and the valve covers are pissing oil. All that because she doesn't want to drive it. I can't catch a break. Plus the studded snows are still on it and those need to be changed. I don't mean to complain. She does a lot more good for me then bad and for me life isn't too bad at all. I'm still vertical. No more wondering if there is a car in the other lane and having my daughter look out the back window to see if it's clear.
Jim where did you find the 4" convex mirror?

Advance auto parts (actually I think it's 3-3/4'') fits the peep mirror perfect. Best $3 I ever spent.

Jim, sorry to hear of the issues but like you said, it could be worse. Nice to see you back on here too. Hopefully the car quits nit picking you. Oh, wait, they never do even if you sell them.

Funny you should say sell them Ryan. One should be careful what one asks for. For fun I listed my car for sale. I talked to a guy from Maine (about 6 hours away) and I happened to mention my wife's car. I told him my price, sent some pictures, and apparently he is headed this way with cash and a trailer. He like both my car and the wife's so it looks like one of them at least is going. Looks like I better get going on that 34 sedan. Not thrilled but money is money...Sigh!

How's momma going to like her car leaving? Will you be sleeping in the 34 sedan?

Well, sad day here. I decided to put my 34 Chevy up for sale just for the fun of it. Even more stupid on my part was that I mentioned that I had a 32 3 window. Long story short, this guy wasn't a tire kicker. He drove 5 hours with his girlfriend and their four dogs to come see it. I told him my price he said no problem and as we walked out of the garage a slider pulled up and we counted out some cash. It happened so fast I was still in a daze as it drove away. So with that we close the door on the wife's time saver coupe.

Of course Ryan. I still have the 34 Tudor and I'm working on a 39 Chevy coupe. So I'll be around.

I wasn't sure if Momma was going to take you out for selling her car.

She actually wanted to sell it. She wants a back seat now to take the kids in the car with her. I'm the one that is upset. I loved that car.

I hope you find a replacement that you love even more. From what I'm reading, there is a lot to choose from.
