Wide Body Porsche
This is a full custom fabrication wide body 928, it started out as a rust free hack job of a Porsche and has since been turned into a street monster. The car has been chopped 2 inches all around, quarter glass has been removed and filled in, the hatch has been stripped and custom fabbed into a notch back, got rid of all the plastic and replaced with custom fabrication front and rear ends. It is sporting 18x12 305's in the back and a 383 Chevy stroker with Porsche 5 speed running gear. Build in progress still obviously..

One side note for anyone thinking this car would offend the Porsche crowd..........fear not. The hardcore Porsche folks were offended by this car the day the factory introduced it. An interesting, if not compelling, choice for a platform to modify.
The company I worked for back in the day had a large Division meeting at a swanky hotel in Seattle, 1978 IIRC. There was some hubbub in the adjacent ballroom, so I went over to investigate. It was the regional unveiling by Porsche of the 928. Security must not have been a concern because I was able to waltz right in and join the audience. Some elements of it (to me the water cooled v8 in front) were intriguing, though the inflated pumpkin seed shape wasn't high on my list. Listening to the comments of the Porschephiles around me would lead you to think someone peed in the punch bowl. As an outsider I walked out of the room thinking................hmmmmm, not a success................Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

Well I am glad we aren't pissing anyone off lol that's a pretty funny and unique story tho for sure. I'm glad the Porsche guys will maybe consider this instead of just writing it off then lol, although not opposed to making them a little upset as the uproar may atleast bring the attention haha, thanks for the comment!

Yes, I can imagine all those stiff upper lip type Porsche people as they didn't have much of a good reaction down this way either. Nathan, I really believe you are taking the Ugly Out Of the 928 and you should be applauded for not only your skill but your vision on how to cure ugliness.
Now as for the Buick, I'm going to have to goggle one so that I can see the improvements you have made.I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

Old Porsche statement I've used for years.
The difference between the Porsche owner and a porcupine?

So this is the suspension package soon to be going under there, I love when the mail comes lol. In another group I want to say someone advised against the banana links however I can't remember why so if anyone has any information on that, that would excellent.
