I hope I like the green because I think we're committed at this point.Last edited by 53 Chevy5; 11-25-2016 at 05:47 PM.

I'm a little nervous to be honest, we won't loose it that's for sure.. My wife has loved this color for the pickup for about 2 yrs now so we thought might as well go with it. At the end of the day she's the one I sleep with

It's green. No doubt..
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

When we painted the '47 a few years back, we went to check on it and saw it being pushed out of the spray booth.
I took one look and thought: "Oh my god! What have we done!"
It was in-your-face yellow!
But by the time the windows went back in, the bumpers, grille, and all the trim was back on it was toned down quite a bit, and after a while I started to like it too.
Like you; this colour was She Who Must Be Obeyed's choice, and after all it is her car, so my opinion didn't even enter the equation.

I like that green a lot and seeing it brought back memories of a station wagon I did panel work on for my Step Father and Mum when I was a first year apprentice panelbeater. Once I had removed all the rust and got it looking straight Dad and Mum had it painted candy apple green with a white roof, man, was it bright but with the chrome trim etc. it looked surprisingly good. So I will look forward to seeing this all finished out in the sun as I'm sure you will be pleasantly surprised with the finish too.I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

I think it is very close to candy apple green, only without the metalic. I think I'll like it.

I don't mind the color one bit.....................but you do realize you're going to have to endure an endless stream of Kermit references don't you?Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
