It is fun when it's time to be bolting new stuff on a freshly painted car. Looking good, like the gauges, personally I would prefer a chrome mirror.

It's coming together now! Not sure if I'm a fan of all the black.. but then I don't get to make those decisions.

It'll be cool as long as you like it.

Well, funny you guys should say that about the black. I was just in the shed looking it all over and started back pedaling on the black. I thought it looked good at first but now it's starting to look cheap to me.

Sure looks sharp; I'm not a fan of green but that's a great color for that truck.

I love the color. I have a "gotta have it green" with black stripes Mustang in the garage. To me the black stripes really complement the green.

I was just reading over your build thread and how you had some time off to get after it and you wanted it done by spring. I have the same thing going here, taking the week of Jesus birth off in a couple weeks and if funds and time allow, it will be driving around this spring.

That was one of the greens that was in the finals. I agree that it needs some black but I think it needs to be all together before I know how much and where to put it.

The black adds definition to the whole.... with chrome around the front and rear windows changing the side windows to black seems to call out the door..

The black contrast looks good overall... so your last post is right on!

Haven't shown a lot of pics lately because there haven't been noticeable things being done, mostly wiring, and wiring and more wiring. Good grief I thought that would be a nice day project but between routing and rerouting, and changing this and that it is about a 3 day project. It doesn't help that I can be a bit OCD on wire routing and how it looks. Tomorrow hopefully I can do a full test on absolutely everything from front to back. The photo was at a I'm so sick of this point.

I feel your pain on the wiring. I spent a good week wiring my 72 and I still wasn't done. There's always more to add or something.

Had a good day of progress today, big things went on. I have had the whole week off of work so a lot of work has gotten done. Most everything went on pretty good, the drivers side fender never did go on as nice as the passenger and it fought me again today. The only real big problem is on the driver side back of the hood, I don't know if all the working of the metal stretched it that much but it has a terrible fit in the back. It gaps up very high on the top curve but everything else gaped good. I am going to put on my extra hood and check the gaps on that one, and if it is nice I am going to replace the left side with the left of the extra hood I have. I need to tackle the grill yet but that will be later.

The engine compartment filled up nicely with fender wells installed and I had to make more room for the radiator. I stuck the Astro van seat in to check it out but I think I need to look at Caravan seats before anything gets recovered.

Hello I'm new to this forum but not new to building hot rods I've built quite a few of these trucks try checking your left side cab mounts looks like either your left rear is low or your left front mount is high I've got a fifty model just like yours an ran into same problem you could mount your bed an adjust cab height from that also
