"Thinkin'" chairs are a very necessary item in any shed/workshop.
The son of a young couple (and a pretty good kid,) that used to work for us would very often come across to my shed while I was "thinkin'" and start up some inane childish chatter. And the whole train of thought was gone.
He just couldn't understand why he was told to go away today when yesterday he was welcome.
"Busy? But you're not doing anything!"

And thinkin'.
