Got the wood bed stained and varnished. My wife used some sort of paint and wipe trick for the color and we have 4 coats of spar semi gloss varnish on to protect it. Hopefully we can put that in tomorrow night.Seth

Varnishing the bottom side too, right? Not meaning to preach, but I've seen too many boards cup and warp because the side unseen was left raw, or only given a cursory coat.
