Well, doesn’t EXACTLY look like a 74 Dodge Monaco police car but close enough.

Thanks! I’m pretty happy with it. I think it looks darn good for budget priced single stage enamel.

Yep; $119 a gallon TCP Global enamel. This is the third car I’ve used it on and it look and holds up good. I really wanted to make the Power Tour but it’s not going to be done in time.

Hopefully I can do a test fire on the motor this coming weekend.

Power Tour? I won't make this year either, but it sure would be a goal to have for next year! Would be a blast! Power Tour, Drag Week, and Bonneville are the big three on my bucket list!!!!

Do it, Dave! I did it last year and it was a blast; wish i was going again this year but I am going to find some closer weekend-long shows. There's one in Springfield Ill in either August or September that goes from Friday night to Sunday afternoon and is supposed to be really good.

Got the fuel and cooling lines plumbed, dash put together and it fired right up. Carb is leaking gas so I have to rebuild it but the motor sounds good and all the vital signs look good. I pulled the rear springs back off so I can drop them at the spring shop and have them lowered a little; they put way too much arch in them when they rebuilt them.

Nice to hear she fired right up. Bummer on the carb but at least that should be an easy fix. It sure is looking nice!
