Finished all the wiring today and thankfully everything works. Hope to make some serious progress this weekend.1 Corinthians 1:27

It's almost ironic:
Such a huge effort and most people will only see an old van with fresh paint.
They will have no clue..
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

Yeah thought I thought it was too blue at first but it grew on me. Good weekend; got the carb rebuilt and running better, put on the back brakes, shocks, cleaned and lubed all the e-brake parts, ran about 1/2 the brake lines and got the wheels and tires on.1 Corinthians 1:27

Got lots of details wrapped up lately. Got the wiring al tidied up, under dash stuff finished, brakes finished and bled, front door latch hardware cleaned up and installed, and the driver seat in. Lots of other stuff too but that’s the highlights. Just about down to putting in the glass, painting the grill and bumpers, and doing a test drive.1 Corinthians 1:27

I meant to ask if your van is still running an ammeter? If so how did you deal with it? When I had a 75 Duster I replaced the one in it with a voltmeter that almost looked factory.Ken Thomas

I bypassed it; probably need to add a voltmeter so I know what’s going on.1 Corinthians 1:27
