We are really not rushing it. I am thinking second primer coat early next week then another week of work, maybe 1 and a half to 2 weeks. We are going slowly on purpose to let the primer and the glass season is the best way I can express it.

I like the red best, but would go with a pair of pinstripes, maybe 1/8" topped by 1/16" and a 1/16" gap? The big bold "accent stripe" is too much, to my eye, but it may be different with the fenders in place. Hard to say....Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

I like the red also.
BUT! With that detail highlighted, I now see the whole front ( ahead of the cowl) is missing the lower body detail / molding.
And I now cannot "un-see" it... 8-(

You've done such an amazing job "sleek-ing it up" that it really needs the stripe. I like the red..
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

Vote red with blue outline. Your eyes can't focus on both colors at the same time so the stripe appears to move...shimmer?
Actually red is long wavelength and blue is short wavelength, looking at both close together screws with your cones in our eyes.
Did this years ago on a 67 Cougar and got lots of interesting looks/comments.Last edited by Scooting; 03-20-2018 at 10:37 PM.

There is a lot of actual effort going into the bottom nose cowl for the front. As we have worked our way forward on the car, straightening and alining all the seams and joints, the imperfections are coming out in the fitment of that piece. Significantly the piece will be in a stressful mounting so Kory and the guys are paying a lot attention to aligning it and then ensuring a good fit. It should unfold in the next week.
