Primer always makes it feel better especially after looking at all the body work during the work process. It's looking nice.Ryan

Thanks we start the fine tuning now, hoping to let it sit out in the sun a few days

Yes, when the primer gets laid down you realize it's coming down to the end.
WRP, I'm no diplomat, and not really articulate enough to question your choices nicely so I'll just ask it plain. Is there a plan to add a curve to the forward side of the rear fenders? Like some others have mentioned, the "hard" or "sharp" line as it is now just doesn't seem to flow with the rest of the body lines. And the rear side has the molding / body line to add to the lines, that is missing as well on the front side.
Of course it's your car and your money, you decide what you like or don't, I'm just offering an opinion. You can tell me to buzz off, I won't mind. I hope you can take this in the spirit intended, just one car guy to another.

I appreciate the input. Those rear fenders I have noticed are akin to 32 Ford Fenders and seem to come with the full fender and running board package which I did not go with. I had some tapered fenders, still have them in fact. Problem was they really looked out of place when I added the front fenders. I think the only way I could have honestly balanced it out was to add running boards and the full front fenders that came with the running board kits. It may not be apparent but we did add strips to build out a trim line along the edges of the fender to mold more into the bottom shape of the rocker area. I approached this thing with visions of louvers, scoops, trunk louvers, and so forth. The guys doing the work have a vision that I trust to turn out okay. On the other hand if it sucks I can always pull the existing fenders off and put the original ones I had on the roadster back. I am kinda waiting to see how it comes out.

I tend to run the wheels off these things. When I decided to put a nicer paint job on it I was more inclined to go with fuller fenders to protect it. May be a mistake but for now I am going to follow it through. The fenders are not bonded to the body

And I guess that's part of the deal is that the pictures don't show the finer details. I congratulate you on having the desire to "run the wheels off of it" and also protect the work that's being done. There's always a compromise right!?!?
And thanks for not blasting me for "offering" an opinion. I wasn't trying to be rude, no matter what JB says!

I enjoy the dialog. Half of the time I post things in hopes others will point it out if I am going down a wrong path. Besides, I'd far rather pull up beside you at a light

Kinda kicking around paint samples. Had a die cast metal model of a 33 Ford so I sanded it and primered it. I just put a top coat of Blue Metallic on it. Have Black Metallic I am going to do the bottom of one side with and I will get a silver metallic to do the other side with. Going to pick up another and try blue pearlescent and Black Pearlescent as well.

So got the panels shot on the model. Two options are blue top and silver bottom or blue top and black bottom. This set is Arctic blue metallic top and black metallic bottom on one side with silver metallic on the other.

2 tone is nice. The colors seem "dark' but it may be the lighting or the base you used too.
But I like the 2 tone more than the 1 color.

I was initially going to do a tribute to a friend who was in a serious wreck last year with his Nostalgia Top Fuel Car. I wanted to do the Red White and Blue Motif. Got to thinking about it and I do go out to a lot of shows and GTGs. People are so anti American I figured it would invite vandalism so I migrated to the silver and blue. I think the Chamois color interior will work with the dark blue color. Here was Preston's dragster, his new car is in final prep stages right now. I hope to get to see it in Bowling Green this year.
