Good job. I would be afraid to tackle that much rust repair. Very pretty drive train too. The vic was a great looking car.

That barb was intended for Seth. (53Chevy 5)
He had assembled a gorgeous pickemup and then decided he didn't like the 348... so then he pulls the motor and does an LS I believe. I couldn't believe it!
All that fresh paint!! But he pulled it off and did the swap and you can't tell!

I think it was Roger who mentioned putting the 348 in my 82 Z28 also The difference is the 4.6 is still a good motor, Maybe the 348 is too but not for me. He's right on the motor swap, a decision had to be mad fast and it well well. One scratch of paint in the engine compartment was the only damage. It was still the best thing I did to the pickup. I was pretty green on the Ls motors at the time and I thought the LS1 was the 5.3, they are not so I have a 5.3, not an LS1.Last edited by 53 Chevy5; 05-14-2018 at 08:39 PM.

A "skip" = a dumpster.... but he says it's proper english??? Oh.. Okay. Most of us can see the dating site pun, "matching" with an arsonist.. But a "SKIP? How is that a box? It must all be...
