    Good job. I would be afraid to tackle that much rust repair. Very pretty drive train too. The vic was a great looking car.

    He had assembled a gorgeous pickemup and then decided he didn't like the 348... so then he pulls the motor and does an LS I believe. I couldn't believe it!
    All that fresh paint!! But he pulled it off and did the swap and you can't tell!

    I think it was Roger who mentioned putting the 348 in my 82 Z28 also The difference is the 4.6 is still a good motor, Maybe the 348 is too but not for me. He's right on the motor swap, a decision had to be mad fast and it well well. One scratch of paint in the engine compartment was the only damage. It was still the best thing I did to the pickup. I was pretty green on the Ls motors at the time and I thought the LS1 was the 5.3, they are not so I have a 5.3, not an LS1.

    Working away. Filling in the spare tire tube had to move the trunk floor over the axle back 6" for a crossmember to support the coil over springs.image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg: Dimage.jpeg
