Good job. I would be afraid to tackle that much rust repair. Very pretty drive train too. The vic was a great looking car.

That barb was intended for Seth. (53Chevy 5)
He had assembled a gorgeous pickemup and then decided he didn't like the 348... so then he pulls the motor and does an LS I believe. I couldn't believe it!
All that fresh paint!! But he pulled it off and did the swap and you can't tell!

I think it was Roger who mentioned putting the 348 in my 82 Z28 alsoThe difference is the 4.6 is still a good motor, Maybe the 348 is too but not for me.
He's right on the motor swap, a decision had to be mad fast and it well well. One scratch of paint in the engine compartment was the only damage. It was still the best thing I did to the pickup. I was pretty green on the Ls motors at the time and I thought the LS1 was the 5.3, they are not so I have a 5.3, not an LS1.

Awesome work! How did you match that floor pattern on your filler piece?1 Corinthians 1:27
We managed to get a couple of other small things taken care of. One was blacking out the front of the core support. When the sun hit the front of the car just right that green paint on the core...
