*1937 Ford Pickup Front Suspension Update*
Need a little advise from the pros. I still have the straight axle under my pickup with a reverse "I" spring with disc brakes. My wife and I are tired of the rough ride and hard steering so want to see what our options are. My 37 is an old school street rod with a 350 sbc, M21 Muncie 4 speed, with 4.11 gears in the rear. Would like to get rid of the straight axle and update the front suspenion with PS. I do not have deep pockets so I welcome and sugestions.

Seems like a Mustang 2 type setup is in your future then.
Not sure what kind of budget you want or what your fabrication skill level might be, but it isn't terribly hard to do depending on where you buy from and what level kit you get.
To my mind, this is one of those deals where you shouldn't cheap out. Shop around and ask lots of folks who might've done it or have that unit in their car.
I've never tried one of theirs but Fatman has a good rep and I have a Kugal in mine.

I know some others make some bolt on MII cross members but speedway offers one and if you call them, they may even be able to sell you a complete setup for your pick up. Chassis engineering used to make them too but have since closed down last I heard.

$2-$3k would be earnest money on the project.
OK maybe not that bad, but not every shop can do it (right) and those whom can don't come cheap.
Have you considered simply changing the shocks first?.
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.
