Shave off the run after it cures. Then a quick buff and all is good. Eastwood has the doohickey with which one do the thingamajob..
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

Are you gonna keep it strictly "stock" Seth? Or perhaps add a twist and change a couple panel colors?
Not sure if you're old enough to remember when tractors were just about required to have a few runs in the paint visible, that's how you knew there was a "good" coat of protection. 8-) I think IH was the worst, especially with the Cub Cadets!

Please tell me you wrapped the hydraulic connections with tinfoil, tape, or plastic before you shot it...

I had them wrapped with duct tape when I sandblasted it, and I shoved blue shop towels in them when I painted.Seth

Took the cab roof off tonight and scuffed and buffed the dust and the run out of the fender. There is a slight color difference in the old paint on the roof and new paintSeth

See, I think that roof would look better in IH 501 White.. which is really like mid 60's Wimbledon White from Ford...
Plus it would reflect the sunshine and help keep the cab cooler in the summer months!!
And no-one would know except the fine folks here! It's to high to see right??

I got the roof sanded up which was an awful job. I tried bead blasting it like the other plastic pieces to remove the old flaking repaint job that was on there. That didn't work at all, for some reason the roof plastic pits much easier that the other plastic so I had to sand it. I had to spend a lot of time on a part that most likely will never get looked at again after its put on.Seth

You should have just raptor lined it. Isn't that what all the young farm kids are doing to their trucks these days? I mean shoot, the tractor tires are already way outside the fenders any how.
