Let Christian know we said Happy Birthday! He did a good job and deserves to be congratulated for it.

Your a background looker too? I noticed all the Dodge pickups in the parking lot as well. We were at Harbor Freight Tools at the time so I'm not sure if that says something about Dodge owners or Harbor Freight tools

I'm betting it means if you have a dodge truck you best have tools with you.

That's a true statement but I have been impressed with the last few things I got from them. I got their " higher end " palm sander and it is nice and smooth and quiet. I've even used it for about 10 minutes I also bought their 3 inch mini air buffer and I've been pleasantly surprised with that item too. I've been less than satisfied with other items though.

I think HF see's the hole left in the market by Sears/Craftsman going belly up. They appear to be making an effort to improve the quality of some of their tools, especially the battery power tools. Also, they have a few new lines of hand tools that appear to be direct copies of high end tools of other brands. I recently bought a couple of pairs of Vice Grip type pliers that are direct copies of the Irwin brand tools I already had , except for markings, for about half the cost of the Irwins. They function exactly the same, too.

Since just about all the major "American" brands are now made in China, this is what they run the risk of. Patents have run out and the designs are decades old. Probably not much legal recourse for the brand names, unless there is a copyright infringement.

If HF continues this course, they will have several really good lines of tools, just like Sears used to.

I've considered getting one of their Snap-on knock off low profile jacks. I have a Snap-on one currently and I figured maybe I'd save $400 and get a HF one and see how it really compares.

Almost bring a tear to my eye, Christian called me at about 6:00 saying he was in an accident and totaled his car, he was pretty emotional. I raced over there right away and there was quite a scene of flashing lights. He said he was messing with the radio, and it was right where the speed limit went to 55 out of town and someone was stopped to turn and Christian cornholed him. Everyone is fine but it is a sad day for him. Thank goodness there is full coverage on it and financially everything will be fine but it still kinda tears your heart out, but everyone walked away so that's what counts.

Seth, I'm glad everyone was alright and no real injuries happened. It looks like it may have been a pick up or something that sat higher than his car? Are you going to fix it again or cut ties and find another?

It was a Jeep Wrangler that he hit. Very little damage to the Jeep compared to Christian's car.Looked like mostly the bumper and maybe pushed in a bit but I didn't look too close, I could not believe the difference in damage between the two. We will more than likely cut the cord, we will see what insurance does but I'm sure it's more than totaled. It kinda sucks, he just put new tires on it too. He loves the Dodge Chargers, but it's hard for him to understand how bad rear wheel drive car sucks in the winter, Hopefully we can find an AWD one within reason.

Glad everyone is okay! Cars we can fix - people not as easy. Your byline is very apropos in this situation, Seth. Our happiness can not come from thing on this earth rather fixing our eyes on Him.

Dang it. I’m sorry to see this adventure end this way. But I’m glad everyone walked away. Maybe all that damage is due to the crush zone designed into the car, which helps save the passengers.

Yes, cars fold like accordions and it's for a good reason even though it may not look like it. We looked at it yesterday at the body shop ( tower ) and it looks like it went under the Jeep. The frame rails on the Avenger were hardly damaged.
