Today Richard and I started on the rear brakes. Had a problem with the emergency brake cables, they weren't releasing properly. After spraying the cables with Liquid Wrench they worked better, but still was not releasing all the way. Further investigation revealed the spring that holds tension on the adjusting rod was hanging loose. Got the spring reattached and adjusted the rod and they work as they should.
Since I'm replacing the brake lines as well as the Wilwood calipers I decided to replace the rotors as well. Everything is apart so tomorrow we'll put it back together and I'll take pictures. Us old farts got tired, at least I did, and besides tomorrow is another day.Ken Thomas
