Nice project. I'm subscribing so I can keep up. I seem to get way behind on threads I'm interested in.
    Well, I just may be a robot.lol

Thanks for the motivation Bam! I need to get back on my stuff but waiting for some warmer weather, hate to pay all the bucks to heat the shop when I'm only working on my own stuff! Oh well, I'll just go order more "stuff" for the '57!

Well its time to install the C4 suspension.
Everything is measured and ready for the removal of the old suspension
    Out with the old

    No turning back now

Its ready to be tack welded in. I measured a hundred times and its square.

Well its welded in, so I made the radiator support and removed the little jig and the front brace.

Installed the C4 components for mockup

Put a fender on to see how well I mocked up the axle center line. I likey

The wheels fit the opening great! Not only a great mod for appearances but it should make for some really great handling and braking! Just curious, will you be adding or needing a stabilizer bar on the front?

Yes I will be adding a sway bar due to narrowing the clip I have to modify the stock one or get a new one

This is how I added extra strength and tied the clip to the original frame. I also added more bracing for the c-notch for the rack.
I will grind smooth the rosette welds on the side.
