Being from the deep south I know all about the dinner thing. The evening meal is supper. But most folks in this neck of the woods don't say pop, Coke is the most often heard term for a soda no matter what the brand is. Coke was first bottled less than 100 miles from where I live and I guess it just became the generic word. FWIW - I'm a Coke drinker, can't really enjoy a Pepsi. No, they don't taste the same.Now, if you want something really good, you get an RC cola in a glass bottle.
Wouldn't hurt to have a Moon Pie to go with it. Yep, that is actually a thing from my childhood.
